About Us Mission Statement: Helping our Neighbors in need to remain in our support community through services offered at Jamie’s Place, Adult Family Home. To offer a home to our Elders in which they may thrive, enjoy life, and demonstrate good quality of life. History: The Cove is a non-profit organization with the mission of reaching out to our community. Developed in 1998 with the purpose of Faith in Action. Most well known for its food bank service, it also has the Guardian angel program and Aid & Assistance program. Long time Resident of the Methow Valley, Jamie Finlan, gifted her estate to enrich her community. Development began in May 2006 to establish the first alternative living facility for local area residents. The Green House Model was selected for the focus on the Elder and the philosophical foundation, which promotes quality of life and enrichment of Elderhood. The goal of the model is to provide the frail elder with an environment that promotes autonomy, dignity, privacy and choice.
